The flow velocity is measured using the ultrasonic Doppler principle, which requires the presence of suspended particles or small bubbles in the water to reflect the ultrasonic meter signals. The instrument can not work in very pure water without any gas. The water level is measured by a hydrostatic pressure sensor, and the power cable has a ventilation function. The atmospheric pressure on the water surface is used as a hydrostatic pressure sensor to measure the reference pressure.
